Overview

Introduction: What is the Screens Section?

The Screens section is the central library where you define, edit, and manage all the interactive building blocks that power your agents. Think of it as your design system or component library for all user-facing elements.

Here you will find:

  • Engagements – Polls, quizzes, and interactive elements

  • AI Engagements – AI-generated summaries and content modules

  • CTAs (Calls to Action) – Email forms, links, and dynamic forms

  • End Screens – Thank you messages and final screens

Key Concept: Screens vs. Agents

Level

Purpose

Example

Screen

The building block (template)

A "Newsletter Signup" CTA

Agent

The deployed experience using the screen

A Knowledge Agent with that CTA attached

Important Note:

  • You can create Screens directly here OR during agent creation (via the built-in wizards)

  • If you edit a Screen here, it will affect every agent that uses that Screen.

  • Performance metrics (views, clicks, conversions) are tracked at the agent level, not the Screen level. This section is for definition and management only, not analytics.

  • The Visualization configuration is part of the Agent creation wizard, Screen section is just where you define the core screen components.

Best Practices

1. Use Descriptive Names

Name your Screens clearly so you can identify them in dropdowns during agent creation.

2. Leverage Reusability

Create once, use many times. A well-designed CTA can power dozens of agents.

3. Duplicate for Variations

Need a slightly different version? Duplicate an existing Screen and modify the copy—don't edit the original if other agents depend on it.

4. Review Active Agents

Before editing:

  • Check which agents are using this Screen (see Active Agents column)

  • Understand that changes go live immediately for all attached agents

  • Consider creating a duplicate instead if you need a variation

Example:

You have 5 Knowledge Agents all using the same "Newsletter Signup" CTA

You edit that CTA's text from "Sign Up" to "Subscribe Now"

All 5 agents instantly reflect this change

5. Approval Workflow

For AI Engagements, use the approval system to maintain quality control before AI-generated content goes live.
